Down east the Atlantic is feeling the dawn,

The stars and the moonlight are just about gone,

And someone is making an awfully big yawn!

And snuggling back down in their pillow.

But…what do you know!   On the wings of this dawning,

Something else comes and it’s something belonging,

To YOU in your bed as you’re stretching and yawning,

And thinking of what is for breakfast.

It’s the old Christmas Spirit, believe it or not,

It’s here in each jingle and present that’s bought,

It’s here with the bells and the Santa Claus pot,

With you as you open your eyes.

It just doesn’t matter if you’re feeling grumpy

Or nothing goes right and your hair is all frumpy,

And even your oatmeal is cold and it’s lumpy,

Don’t worry, it all will be fine.

‘Cause this is the season to turn it around,

To smile at the day when you much rather frown,

To pick someone up when they’re feeling all down,

You’ve got it…the Spirit of Christmas.

Twas the night before Christmas,

And all through the hay,

All the creatures just knew,

He would come the next day.

The cow in the stall,

Asked the dove in the rafter,

To give him a song,

That would fill Him with laughter.

And the dove in the rafter,

Said, "please, if you may,

Would mouse fill the manger,

with fresh and clean hay?"

The mouse turned around,

And said, "What do you say,

Fireflies join us,

And light up their way?

So they all did their job,

And they gave it their best,

To make their place nice for,

A heavenly guest.

Love you

It's the Christmas season,
And I love you all so much,
I hope you like your Christmas tree,
The lights, the stars and such.

Because it tells the reason,
A cow gave up her feeding trough,
To start the Christmas season.

A wreath is hanging on your door,
The leaves on trees are there no more,
The boots are drying on the floor,
And fire warms your fingers.

Why is it so that in December,
Something stirs and we remember,
Starting slowly like an ember,
Making warmth that lingers?

It's all because when God came down,
The word was spread to Bethlehem town,
There's so much love to go around!!

Dear girls and boys around the world,
It's a pleasure that I have been able,
To remind you each day of the heavenly way,
And the love of the babe in the stable.

It's hard to believe that its Christmas Eve,
Farewell now and God be with you,
I'm off now and breezin' till next Christmas season,
Merry Christmas to you and adieu.
